The Dry Spices No Curry Chef Should Be Without

If you have read through a number of Indian food cookery books, you may have noticed that many recipes ask for ghee. Ghee can be purchased in Indian markets and some grocery stores but it is also very easy to make your own. It is really just clarified butter.

Everyone has their favourite curry house curry and here I would like to show you one of the key building blocks to creating them. Make a large batch of the homemade curry powder and you could be eating your favourite curries in minutes in the comfort of your own home.


Depending on the severity of the pain and how often it recurs, earache may warrant a visit to the doctor's office. If what you're looking for is just a quick fix to deal with an isolated earache, or a holdover until you can get to a doctor, these methods may help.

Combine the first three ingredients and set aside. Mix together the wet ingredients and pour over the dry ingredients, and stir to combine. Once mixture comes together, knead for 10 minutes, and then set aside to rise until doubled in bulk. Punch down dough and divide into 6 portions. Long Finger (Bhindi), 500 grams of purified, lamb, cut into small pieces 500 grams of bone, 2 tbsp ghee, 1 tsp cumin seeds, cinnamon sticks 2 one-inch, black pepper, black cardamom 4 8-10, onions, sliced thin 2 medium bell pepper, halved 3-4, Ginger paste 1 tsp garlic paste 1 tsp salt to taste, turmeric powder 1 / 2 tsp, coriander powder 2 tsp, 2 tbsp oil, tomatoes, pureed 2, red chilli powder 1 tsp, garam masala powder 1 tablespoon fresh coriander, chopped 4 tablespoons.



The Bhati is quite unlike any other Indian bread. Predominantly eaten in the state of Rajasthan, Bhatis are made with unleavened wholemeal flour dough into which a little salt and clarified butter have been mixed. The dough is shaped into small balls and baked in a moderately hot oven until brown on the outside and soft on the inside. Bhatis are traditionally served in a container that is then filled with clarified butter. They are eaten after being allowed to soak for a while.

One remedy to try involves combining a teaspoon of sesame oil with a bit of garlic. Use an open flame to heat it up until it's a bit warm. Then, lie down with the hurting ear pointed. Put four drops of the solution in the ear and let it set for 10 minutes. This can help to relieve ear pain.

Use waxed paper to line a cookie sheet and put half inch thick cutlets on it. Cover and chill for half an hour. Whisk the flour, cornstarch, and milk, then dip each cutlet click here in this mixture and roll them in the poppy seeds. Let them air dry. Heat three quarters of an inch of ghee and fry the cutlets for two minutes on each side. Drain and serve hot.
